THE HISTORY OF KING AZURAZ

Known as only Azuraz back then, he travelled with those six men for many years. Conquering evil in its many forms, Never backing down from a challenge. Always at ethical odds with some of his companions Azuraz was able to keep them in check most of the time. Alas, even my King couldn't completely banish the chaotic whim of a few of them. One time in the Wild Coast Azuraz had a premonition of disaster and elected make camp outside the city of Fax. It was later learned that Lord Marlenus and another travelling companion lay waste to Fax. Apparently the towns people were very rude.

Azuraz grew in popularity and started to attract followers. No matter how much he tried to persuade them to leave and seek out their own fortune they just wouldn't go. Even though the Gods and Goddesses have millions of followers Azurazs' followers was becoming to much to handle. At 30,000 men there were many possibilities here. He decided to make some good of the predicament and created his own personal army. An easy task to handle for a man of such wealth. He had been looking for a way to use his acquired fortunes for something good and beneficial to man and beast.

He worked out the chain of command with the men and they agreed to somehow help the slaves of "The Hold of the Sea Princes". They ordered the production of War Ships. It is unknown now how many ships were first used but they were enough to carry the massive army to the shores of the Sea Princes.

The timing of the attack was perfect for as they landed the Sea Princes were warring with the Scarlet Brotherhood. Almost all the ships were out to sea. The only thing in the way was the army. Azuraz pushed this pathetic tumor up into the mountains of the Jotens. Even The Kingdom of Keoland helped once they discovered what was going on.

The first order of the new King was to free all the slaves. He didn't just free them however. No, he offered the slave owners compensation and then the same amount went to the slaves. This way he won over the affection of the slaves and the respect of the slave owners. Most of the slaves stayed in the country now called the Southlands. Others were returned to their homes.
