Hi, my name is Matt and I am a student at Florida State University.  I need your Help!  It's my grandmother....you see, she was competing in an 'Xgames' surfing competition and after winning the gold medal she tripped and twisted her ankle...She is now confined to a wheel-chair for 2 months!  Because I have class everyday it's getting hard for me to go and assist her.  She really has trouble driving her Automatic ZX-2700 Turbo-chair in and out of the house because of the stairs leading up to the door.

No, don't worry about sending any flowers....but after talking with one of my math professors here on campus she told me about this very very bright and well instructed math class.  Which brings me to the point of this letter!

Here's the deal, I need your help in designing a ramp that will lead from the ground up to the threshold of the door.  Believe me, I know how to build a ramp!  But, because this is my grandmother we are talking about, and because I love her dearly, I want this ramp to follow the "Accessibility Guidelines" set by the government(really it's for insurance reasons).

I would research this on my own but I have to study for an exam tomorrow...Below I have given the information that you may or may not need in order to complete this task...Please work in groups set by your teacher, and turn in your work so your instructor can make sure I receive your design.   :)

My grandmother will greatly appreciate this, because in 3 months she has the world competition to get ready for!
