Chip has been with the United nations Civilian Police in Kosovo since September 2000 and will arrive back home in Maine in October 2001. The primary function in this mission is the training of the new KPS Officers and to bring stability to this war torn region of the Balkans.

CIVPOL Officer cayer says "This is a very interseting and challenging job, very hard to describe how different law enforcement is in this region compaired to what the United States is acustomed to. I hope that the United Nations will make a differnce in this region but I believe it will take a very long time." ALWAYS say a prayer for the people of this region, if you was in Kosovo you would know why I say that!
