“Hurry, get down, they’re armed!” Tomas screamed to Flemson.
Flemson replied, “But what are we supposed to do about Mezzoni?”
“He should have thought of that before he betrayed us,” Tomas tells Flemson. Tomas kicks the door open, but Flemson stops and picks up Mezzoni’s body.
“I told you to leave him there!” Tomas exclaims as he watches Flemson carry Mezzoni’s body across the room.
“You’re not leaving unless you are in a body bag!” the officer yells to Flemson, but Flemson continues to run.
“There-there-there’s a gun be-hi-hind the bed,” Mezzoni manages to mutter before collapsing. Flemson dashes across the room, dodging all bullets that are fired and grabs the gun.
“Flemson’s got a gun, Flemson’s got a gun, Anthony the Great is on the run,” Flemson taunts as he grabs the gun and starts to rapid fire. Nine cops go down and the rest run to the backyard where their cars are parked. Tomas arrives from the front yard with a stolen car and dashes to the back, he picks up Flemson and Mezzoni and runs like heck.
“Anthony the Great, add grand theft auto to their list of offenses…again. Meet us by the interstate and we’ll catch those fugitives…again,” the cop said into his speaker.
“Step on it, Tomas, we need to get out of here as fast as we can, before Anthony the Great comes!” Flemson exclaims at the top of his lungs.
“Is he okay?” Tomas asks Flemson while referring to Mezzoni.
“Do you think I’m a M.D.?” Flemson snapped emblematically. The car makes an abrupt turn but it doesn’t stop the cops.
“Anthony, they’re heading northeast around 95 try to catch them as quick as possible,” the cop yells as he tries to catch up. “ I see them turning at Morreslong, but I can’t see if they made a turn or not, I think I lost them.”
“Good, we lost them, but Anthony might have set up a road block,” Flemson says to Tomas.
“An-An-Anthony is a lot smarter than you think, he probably shut down all the roads in a 45 mile radius. He probably already warned parents to put all cars in the garage. He’s probably just waiting for you to come his way,” Mezzoni says to Flemson and Tomas.
“We should go where he is, because at the road blocks he probably has other cops waiting and this way we could just get the confrontation over with,” Flemson states.
“But, where is he?” Tomas asks Flemson.
“He doesn’t expect us to take our normal route, so we will take the normal route,” Flemson replies.
“That must be the stupidest thing I have ever heard,” Mezzoni says to Flemson, “but if we were to take a normal route we should make a left here because of little traffic and head forward until Wrigley St.”
“Okay, I’m just going to pretend that are lives don’t depend on whatever you guys just said, and hope to God that it works,” Tomas said frantically as they turn on Wrigley Street. “That’s all, just one cop car!” Tomas screams as he assumes that Anthony will be a piece of cake.
“Look closer,” Mezzoni says as he points to the cops blocking all the ways out, “they just brought them.”
“I told them not to come,” Anthony the Great screamed furiously, “why do they meddle with my pressing matters?”
“So, you’re Anthony the Great, don’t seem so great to me,” Tomas mocks.
“This is the showdown,” Flemson remarks, “to end all showdowns.”
