| The Showdown to End All Showdowns “Vroom-vroom-vroom,” revved Anthony’s engine as they prepared for battle. “This is going to be the end, the climax,” Flemson muttered to himself, Tomas, and Mezzoni. “I highly doubt that,” Mezzoni replied, “Anthony has always managed to win. And if you did win and somehow managed to escape the ring of cops, how would you get back to your planet of origin?” “You know you really know how to put a man down,” Flemson says to Mezzoni. “I can’t believe you would bring a man who not only hunted us, but also betrayed us and put us in this situation,” Tomas states to Flemson, “you know you’ve gotten soft.” Before Flemson could respond Anthony hurling forward in his red Hummer. The car came to an abrupt stop and Anthony said, “I’m gonna go right you follow and well ditch these cops.” The window rolled down and much to Tomas, Flemson, and Mezzoni's surprise it was not Anthony the Great, but it was Akira. “Are you guys just going to stand there or are we going escape these cops?” Akira asked as the guys looked on in amazement. “But, your dead,” Tomas says to Akira, “but he’s dead,” he says to Flemson. “How is this possible,” Tom thinks to himself, “it makes no sense?” “Just shut up and follow me Ill bust through the cops’ blockade,” Akira told them as he made a quick turn. He accelerated as fast as possible and then broke right through the center of two cop cars. The cars were being trailed by the large Hummer and had considerable damage to them. Quickly following the Hummer was Tomas’s borrowed cop car. It collided full force into the cop cars and the cop cars began to spin. “Holy crap! This is awesome!” Tomas scream loudly. “Roour-roour” the cop cars screech as they follow Tomas, Flemson, and Akira. “We gotta turn fast,” Akira yells to Tomas and Flemson, “oh, and by the way, who’s the new guy?” “It’s a long story, maybe Ill tell you later,” Flemson answers. The Hummer makes left turn on to the highway and Flemson quickly follows. All cars have been evacuated on the highway so it was a smooth ride. “The cops are gaining on us,” Mezzoni says as he looks at about 40 cops that are on their tail. “Do we have any guns?” Tomas asks as he realizes it won’t be easy to outwit the cops. “I’ve got a bunch in my trunk, but I can’t get them without letting go of the wheel,” Akira says to Tomas. “Hold up, I'll be there in a second,” Tomas says as he opens the car door. “What do you mean?” Akira asks Tomas. “I’m going to jump, Tomas replies as he leaps across to Akira's car.” Next Issue: Will Tomas be able to make the jump? Will our heroes ever dodge all these cops? Will our heroes ever find Joseph and his team? Will they find a way back to Earth? Will any of these questions be answered in the next issue?
