Here's some of those pictures I promised you from the garden this year (2002)...Check back to the original page for my garden pictures at
Georgia's Garden Pictures
..just to compare the difference with the ones you'll be seeing here.. What a difference a month makes..
Beginning in the front yard.. you'll be able to see the theme for this year's garden, which is definitely patriotic... God bless America..

Here's the right side of the front yard area.

The mail box is even in on the celebration of our country.. I love the red, white, and purple.. along with the butterfly bush growing in the rear.

In front of the living room window, the scaveola basket is hanging... there you see my "God Bless The USA" sign along with assorted flags clinging onto the window.

Just below that window near the front door, is a red, white and blue section where I replaced a broken down brick flower box this year..

Now comes my favorite part.. the pine tree all bedecked with red, white and blue bows on the tree.. and red, white, and blue flowers all below.. Blue is hard to find.. so there are blue lobelia, blue salvias, blue ageratums..along with many varieties of reds and whites.

In the back side of the house.. the variety of impatiens just flourished.. Here's a bird's eye view of them.

The patio garden also was just jam-packed with all sorts of blooms and colors..

The concrete flowerbox located on the patio really came to life with my favorite combinations of red, white, and purple petunias.

Now we switch to the vegetable garden.... Here's a view of the entire garden.. and even since then.. it's amazing to see how tall the sunflowers are (they're also in bloom now)... and how full the tomatoes and other plants are..

I had another one of the vegetables, I can't seem to find now.. but that's it for 2002... now we're reaping the harvest.. and that's the BEST part.... right?.. Thanks for sharing with me.. and HAPPY GARDENING TO YOU..
