Iashvili, 85, 86
Two late goals by Freiburg striker Alexander Iashvili finally broke Lithuania's stubborn resistance in Group 8 and kept alive Georgia's slim World Cup play-off hopes.
Iashvili struck first on 85 minutes, and within one minute he had doubled his side's advantage in Tbilisi.

The match-winner was only drafted into the starting line-up for the crucial clash by manager Alexander Chivadze after doubts over Shota Arveladze's fitness.

His goals were certainly a relief to the home side, who had almost gone behind to Lithuania in the first-half.

Robertas Poskus and Deividas Semberas were both thwarted early on by keeper Gvaramadze.

Another one-on-one miss by Poskus in the second-half looked as though it would cost his side, and sure enough Iaschwili pounced after Lithuania badly gave the ball away. A minute later, the same player finished another quick Georgia raid.
