Exclusive Interview With David Gvaramadze
1) What do you think of the standard of football in the Georgian league?

A) I think the Georgian League is a average European League

2) Why did you leave Torpedo Kutaisi?

A) They did not offer a good contract for me, plus in Dinamo there is much more friendly relationship that in any other Georgian club.

3) Which young players should people look out for at dinamo?

A) Well Dinamo plans to add 4 young players, Manchkhava, Ebanoidze, Kvirkvelia and Akhalaia. I think these players will become very good.

4) Irakli Zoidze is Dinamo's 1st choice goalkeeper at the moment. Are you good friends with him?

A) I've got very good relationship with Zoidze as well as with every member of our team.

5) What do you make of Dinamo's manager Ivo Susak so far?

A) I can only say positive things about our Croatian manager. He is a real professional, It is a pleasure to work with him.

6) What happened when you were on trial at Hibernian?. Didn't they want to sign you?

A) I could not understand why they didn't sign me, they did not explain.

7) What do you think of Dinamo's chances in the UEFA cup?. Do you think you can beat TMVK Tallinn?

A) I think we can beat TVMK Tallinn, but i cannot predict further matches

8) Would you like to play in a foreign league?. Which is your favourite league?

A) I have a great desire to play in foreign league, id rather play in English Premier league.

9) Do you think Dinamo can win the Georgian league?

A) Of course. There is a very friendly relationship in DInamo and i suppose we have got the strongest squad in Georgia.

10) Do you think the Georgian National team can qualify for EURO 2004?

A) This is my dream. We will see.


11) Are you planning to update your own website (www.gvaramadze.pvt.ge)?

A) I've got no time for the site yet, of course i will update it as soon as i got time.

A) Yes I have heard aboout your website and i appreciate your work and supporting of Georgian soccer.
