I still remember the first time I laid eyes on her. So quiet, so shy and not speaking a word while she sits amongst her friends keeping to herself. But her beauty inevitably caught my eye. Whenever I watched her the world fell silent - as if all the other voices around the school garden were put on mute. All I could see was her. Teresa. I did this almost every lunch break for three whole terms. But I never approached her, never talked to her. She was totally out of my league in my eyes and I was satisfied with just admiring her good looks. So for the better part of a whole year I stopped to admire whenever I had the chance. Mind you I did this in a very subtle way (now she told me that she caught me staring a few times -_-' ) Well anyway, the end of that year I moved schools. I still thought about her every now and then but never really expected to see her ever again. But of course I did see her again (no kidding...). At the interschool round-robin softball day. Not exactly the most romantic of places but hey, that's fate for you. Anyway, at the sports day I was doing my usual check-out-the-girls-from-the-other-schools routine when I spot a short, cute little asian girl step out of one of the buses. And just as the voice in my head says, "that girl is aiiiight" she lifts her head up and I instantly recognise that face. Teresa! But something is different... she has... curves... (reoww!). So anyway like the coward I am, I didn't talk to her at all. I just watched. Again. And that was that. After interschool softball she was out of my life as quickly as she had come back into it. Or so I thought... Little did I know that she had noticed me too ^.^ and was stalking me... (LOL! Just kidding!). Anyway, what better place to stalk Gerard than mIRC. So yeah, no need to explain the rest. mIRC turned into phone. Phone turned into meeting up. It's still fresh in my mind the day I first met up with who I now call my hunnie (awww). It was raining and I was was waiting outside her school's gate (Well more like hiding behind a tree across the road). Then there she was. My hunnie. So small but so beautiful. Good things really do come in small packages you know =). A little wave, a shy smile and a barely audible "hello" later, and she was in my arms and we hugged for the first time (awww). She was finally mine. It's been over 2 years since my baby and I have been together (not including the flirting stages) and the love I have for her is still stronger than ever. And always will be. Sure we have some hard times, but we're only human. All that matters is that I love her and she loves me and that nothing will or can tear us apart. We're one. I'll be there when the world stops turning; I'll be there when the storm is through; In the end I wanna be standing At the beginning with you... |
