Every 2nd Hand an Adventure (E2HAA)

In this system, all 1-level suit opening bids are forcing and a bit stronger than standard 1-level opening bids. Intermediate hands are opened 1NT or on the 2-level. This makes the average opening bid rather high and puts pressure on the opponents. And most of all, it's fun.

Opening bids

1 13+ HCP, 5+ / 4414 or 15+ balanced
1 13+ HCP, 4+ unbalanced (5+ / 4441 or xx45), forcing
1 13+ HCP, 5+, forcing
1 13+ HCP, 5+, forcing
1NT 12 - 14 balanced
2 9 - 12, 5+
2 9 - 12, 5+
2 9 - 12, 5+
2 9 - 12, 5+
2NT 21 - 22 balanced

Differences with the original

General approach

The minimum opening requirement is 2 HCP more than a "standard" minimum opening bid. In 3rd and 4th seat, 2-suited rule-of-20 hands can also be opened on the 1-level.
