  • Bertha M. Benner June 9, 1889

Annie Benner is my gggrandmother Her daughter Carrie is my grand mother her dates are b.Feb 26,1897 d. Jan.6,1987 (she died on my birthday and they buried her on my father's birthday Jan.10,1987. She married Daniel H. Robinson. They had 16 children of which 13 are still living and my father is the third oldest. One thing I have learned the Benners believe in big families. We used to go to Marysville, PA in the summer for a family reunion with the Benners. The ones I remember were Alma Benner, Elisha Benner, and Oliver Benner. I think that Alma was Elisha's daughter or some relation. I know that they lived in the country in either Perry or Juniata county.

It would be nice to link up with some of the family after all these years, and I'm willing to trade/share information. My father is now 77 and so I ask him every chance I get to see what he remembers and can tell me.

My John F. Benner was in the Civil War. He was in the 76th PA. Vol. known as the Keystone Zoauves. Good luck on the search for your Benners
