Benner families of Tennessee

My great-grandmother was a Benner who descended from Johannes Christian Benner who came over on the ship Neptune. He had a son named Christian, possibly born in Maryland and married a lady named Magdalena.

They had a child named Christian Anderson Benner born in 1814 in Tennessee. There he married Ellen (Nellie) McMurtry. Christian and Nellie had a son named Jacob Hamilton Benner, born in Tennessee (who married twice, first to Martha Florence Kilgore then to Martha Ann Nidy). Jacob and Martha Florence has a daughter named Ida Mae Benner who lived in Missouri most of her life.
