The
Art of Classical Riding Presents
The Award
of Giving

View
the Honor List for
winning sites.

Purpose of the award: To
recognize and honor sites on the web that have offered
knowledge and advice to the world. The environment,
nature, animals, people, and education are all eligible
topics that may be considered. The award is not for sites
that illustrate superior web design; it is for sites that
'give' something rare or important and sites that 'care', offering more than a list of facts, but a genuine effort in spreading valuable information for the sake of our universe.
Before applying for this award, make
sure your website is consistent with the following
criteria:-
Content
Website must not contain
rated material. It should be suitable for viewing
for all ages. The award must be removed
immediately if a winning site should change the
content it was originally awarded for.
-
As previously mentioned,
only sites that 'care' will be considered. No
site that promotes hate, violence, sexism,
paganism, or contains illegal material should
apply.
-
Content should be accurate
in the case of sites that provide facts.
-
The site should demonstrate
a good level of professionalism, i.e. spelling,
grammar, vocabulary.
Layout and Design
Although the award is not
for sites that only show excellence in web
design, a clean, well organized layout is
essential. Some original graphic work is
preferred, but not required. If the site uses
graphics that belong to other websites, credit
must be given as appropriate. No stolen material
is accepted.
Broken images or graphics
are not accepted. Exceptions are for material
loading from a source other than your server,
i.e. banner exchange, advertisement logos, etc.
All Links should be valid.
Due to server problems, a linked page will be
allowed to reload three times before the link is
declared invalid. The site should demonstrate a high level of 'visitor awareness' by providing an easy and convenient navigation system.
General Guidelines
Commercial, non-profit, and
personal websites are eligible.
An overall effort must be
evident.
The website should have a
clear, focused objective. Originality will be
rewarded.
Only relevant use of
graphics should be demonstrated. It is not
preferred to keep visitors waiting for irrelevant
graphics to load.
