Fender Trimming
Even with a 4" suspension lift and 3" body lift, the 36" tires still rubbed the rear of the front fenders under compression.
Using the highly advanced techniques outlined below, anyone can trim their fenders like a pro. :-)
1. Mark the fender area to be cut with masking tape, utilizing the "Eyeball Technique."
2. Insert fine tooth metal cutting blade in jigsaw.
3. I started the cut from underneath. Just go slow and hope the rest of the truck doesn't shake loose from the frame.
Note: This is also a easy way to remove that pesky mud in hard to reach crevices the car wash couldn't get to.

I'll probably get a grinder after the cuts to smooth them up one of these days when I'm feeling froggy.

No more scrapey da tire.
When removing this section of fender, it also takes off the brace that holds the inner and outer fender together. To stabilize them, I screwed the outer fender to the inner with a small screw on the underside, right behind the cut.
