GOLDIE LOC GUNNED DOWN!? AND NEWS ON UPCOMING DPG PROJECTS (12/30/02)
Rumors started circulating earlier today that Goldie Loc from Tha Eastsidaz was gunned down. This rumor is most likey FALSE as most of you probably suspected. I'm not sure if this is completly accurate but the story seems to be that Tha Eastsidaz we're in the studio workin' on there 3rd album all smoked out laughin' n havin' fun when someone asked for Goldie Loc and who ever answered, replied that he was dead. The homie apparently took it the wrong way when it was suposed to be a joke and started to spread the rumor. I'm not confirming any of this because there has been no official word yet on the incident but this is most likely along the lines of what really happened. In other news Dat Nigga Daz announced on his forum that he just put together a new Soopafly album called "50 Sac" The album is from the time he spent on DPG Recordz. Daz is also working on a solo album with Mike Dean and just recorded a track with Bizzy Bone for his "Black Phatom" lp. Daz seems to be really busy these days but still finds time to post on his message board. Although you can't always go by what he says it sounds legit to me. Also as you probably heard it looks like Daz is indeed sighned or sighning with Shady Records. It's not 100% official yet but that's what seems to be the case with Daz. As far as site updates i added a new section to the site called "What The Funk Is G-Funk?" it explains the truth behind who really created the g-funk sound and what it's all about. I'll be adding new sections soon so stay tuned...

G-FUNK CLASSICS IN THE MAKING (12/28/02)
The official site of the group Foesum (www.foesum.com) reports that 2003 is guranteed to bring new things from them. They are working on a Foesum/The Twinz collaboration album with guest appearances by Goldie Loc from Tha Eastsidaz & DPG's Dat Nigga Daz along with solo albums in the works by T-Dubb and M&M. I don't know about your but i'm really looking forward to these albums. Foesum is still using that same classic g-funk sound that we all love. Dj Glaze will most likely be on most of the production. Glaze is real underrated in my opinion. He's one of the tightest producers on the west coast. If you haven't heard of Foesum visit the wesite and order both of there albums. They promise that this year there coming back with a vengeance...

W'ERE BAAACK!!!

I also changed the name to G-FUNK FOREVER... because that smooth classic g-funk sound will never die and i'm here to make sure of that. I'm here to bring you the most complete g-funk site on the net with news, artists, albums, audio, video, you name it.
