About George Goldie, M.B.A.
George received his Bachelor?s degree in Business in 1971 and his Master?s Degree in Business in 1985. In 1973 he went to work in the dental Division of a Fortune 500 company. In the next twelve years, George advanced from the marketing department to quality assurance, personnel administration, financial administration, general management then regional management.

In 1985 he took a position in a consulting company. After two years, he started George Goldie & Associates...an International Medical/Dental Practice Management Firm. Since then, George has worked exclusively with Dentists and Physicians.

He is a founding member of the Academy of Dental Management Consultants and is an active member of ProCon...The Professional Resource Organization of Consultants. Other professional participation includes The American Management Association, The American Society of Training and Development and the National Speakers Association.

George has been a frequent speaker at dental and medical programs in many states and several countries. He has been a guest lecturer at the University of California, San Francisco Dental School and the University of the Pacific Dental School.

George's Motto: "If life is a journey, then life?s greatest tragedy is not having enjoyed the trip."

George has a goal to visit every country in the world and has visited 387 of the places in the book "1,000 Places to See Before You Die" and many places not in the book. He has SCUBA dived in the Caribbean, Mexico Hawaii and the Great Barrier Reef. Hiked in Europe, Alaska, New Zealand, Australia and Asia. Taken fourteen ocean cruises and bungee jumped off the Wairappe River Bridge in Queenstown, New Zealand. He has owned horses and has been active in equestrian events. He has played polo and polocrosse, cut cattle and taken extended three to five day horseback rides. George owns two motorcycles just for fun.

George has been a private pilot for over thirty years and holds instrument, sea plane and glider ratings. He served in the U.S. Air Force National Guard from 1971 until 1977 and has flown in over 100 different types of airplanes. He owns a single engine high performance airplane in which he has traveled throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. He enjoys SCUBA diving, skiing, equitation, tennis, fly fishing and fly tying. In the past he has dabbled in surfing, hang gliding, wind surfing and sky diving and now has become more grounded as an avid golfer pursuing a single digit index.

George has lived in San Carlos, California for over thirty years. George was married to his late wife, Stephanie, for over twenty seven years.

George and Maria, his wife of five years, love gourmet  cooking. George says he feels like he lives in an Italian restaurant. Maria is an international speaker in women's health issues and editor-in-chief of "Modern Hygienist" magazine. Between them, they fly almost 300,000 miles per year for business and pleasure.
