| Maurice Benard joined the cast of General Hospital in 1993 as Sonny Corinthos.After a year off the show,Maurice returned full time in December 1998.This is not his first venture into the soap worls..he got his start playing Nico Kelly on All My Children from 1987-1989.During that time,he was nominated for a Soap Opera Award for Male Newcomer.Prior to joining GH,Maurice met and married his wife of 10 years,Paula.Maurice has 2 little girls named Cassidy and Cailey.Maurice is also a double soap award winner:1996-Lead Actor,2000:Favorite Actor.Maurice has also been very vocal about his struggle w/manic depression,and is dedicated to getting the message about how serious it is to others.Maurice's birthday is March 1st. |

| Tamara Braun joined the cast of General Hospital in May of 2001 as Carly Corinthos.Prior to joining GH,Tamara has had the great oppurtunity to study Shakespere at the Royal Academy of the Dramatic Arts in London.Then,her acting career kicjed off with her fist guest starring role on the Sentenial.Then gues tapperances on Buffy the Vampire Slayer,7th Heaven,Party of Five,and the pretender followed.In her spare time,Tamara likes to hike,spending time w/friends,writing,and studying films. |

| Chad Brannon took over the role of Zander Smith in 2000.In 2001,he won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Male Newcomer.He has made previous apperances on:Undressed,Days Of Our Lives,Chicken Soup for the Soul,Jag,and Malcom in the Middle.In his spare time,Chad likes to skydive and go rock climbing.Chad studied acting at the Sam Houstin State University.He currently lives in Los Angeles. |
