Our Gardens

Over the years we've kept changing things and adding more plants and shrubs, to the point now that there is over 200 hundred different kinds of shrubs and perennials.Most of our plants have to be shade tolerent due to the number of trees that are around us.

We've have developed a real love for rhododendrons and azaleas,and now have about 60 plants of about 40 different kinds. We're lucky in that we have a world recognized expert in rhododendrons, Capt.Dick Steele, not far from us and have been able to acquire some of the more unusual colours and varieties.

Being a shade garden, there are about 25 varieties of hosta scattered around the property.
