| Alright this is probably the easiest thing to do on my whole page. Or its atleast the best tutorial I'll ever have. For this I'd like to thank the morons who emailed me with questions like "So I just enabled the console and it won't come up how do I fix this". When naturally the problem is they didn't even LOAD the game...I feel bad for the future of our world I really do. |
| Step 1. |
| First navigate yourself to your desktop. If you can't find your desktop then don't ever play in the same server as me. Don't bother emailing me to ask either. Double click on My Computer and your wicked self has just completed Step 1 of the easiest thing in the world to do. |

| Step 2. |
| Now you want to find the drive you installed Half-Life on. By default it is C:\ so you'll probably want to click that one. Now find the folder called SIERRA. If yours isn't in all caps that means...well it means nothing at all really just double click it. |
| Step 4. |
| Now you want to find the file called hl.exe. It might not have the .exe extension on the end of it but it will say hl. Naturally you'd think a person could put two and two together and realize that if they want to do this with Counter-Strike Retail then they need to find the cs.exe but noo people have to be so stupid and need help finding it. |
| Step 3. |
| Now you want to go into the Half-Life folder. If your wanting to enable this for Counter-Strike retail then you want to go in the Counter-Strike folder. Please do not ask to have a picture of the Counter-Strike folder or I will just laugh at you and probably post the email on this site somewhere. |
| Step 5. |
| Right click on that file and click "Create Shortcut". Your menu might not look like mine but that is ok. |
