Meet the characters of 'A Tip for the Pizzaman'
Paul
Dixon:--
The hero of the film. As Salieri was the hero of 'Amadeus'. No. Mozart was NOT the hero of 'Amadeus', no matter how many times our good friend 'Twan' insists he is.
But Paul is the hero of the movie AND he's a good guy, to boot.
He works for Paco's Pan American Pizza Palace until such time as the screenplay
he is working on is sold and he can move on to a better life.
Shannon Adams:-
Ok, it's a little blurry, but Shannon is the object of Paul's affection.
She has a fiancé named Trevor, but sees the good things a guy like
Paul would have to offer. She works as a real estate agent during
the day and orders from Paco's Pizza by night (until she and Trevor get
moved in). Has other aspirations than to work in real estate all
her life.
Paco:---
Paul's boss. He built "Paco's Pan-American Pizza Palace" from
the ground up, leaving his father in Mexico to do so. He prays daily
to his father for good fortune (see picture 2) and regards Paul as a son.
Apryl:--
Paul's ex-lover. Has joined a nature cult, digs tofu on a stick
(see above), and still, in her heart has the hots for Paul. However,
she has a boyfriend now named Dolphyn and is devoted to the neo-hippie
rage.
Eric:--
Paul's roommate. Front man for a band which goes through several
names (including 'Rotating Squirrel' and 'Festering Boil'). He has a slight
crush on Paul's mother, but his real love is music. And as Paul attempts
to write his script, Eric makes sure there's plenty of background music
in their apartment. He's always chasing after random girls.
Mrs.
Dixon:--
She's Paul's mother. She is still married to Paul's father, a
state Senator. She's rich, and she knows it. She constantly
stops in to check on Paul, usually catching him in the middle of writing
one of his scripts. She also tries to set him up with various women.
During the course of this film, the woman in question is the mysterious
Everdawn Hazely.
Tom:--
Newspaper salesman. Sits at his stand all day offering the day's
events. He's extremely streetsmart and charismatic. He attempts
to counsel Paul through his romantic troubles.
Trevor: NO PIC AVAILABLE
That was my fault. I did have a frame capture
of Trevor, but I somehow corrupted it. He's a good-lookin' guy.
It's not like the electronics rebelled... Anyway, he's the fiancé
of Shannon, the antithesis of Paul. He is a renowned food critic
who must have everything his way. He does what he can to keep Shannon
away from Paul. And vice versa.
