Some of these I like, others I find hard to swallow, but it is not up to me to choose your path. Just to provide what I can for your journey. :)
The
Movie Soundtrack Webpage
This was probably the very first webpage I'd
ever found that dealt exclusively with film scoring. His page is
about as complete as any independent page of this calibur can be.
The only real fault is the sponsorship. But I can deal with that,
too. His reviews are insightful (even if I don't agree with a particular
view, particularly his view of Brad Feidel) and he doesn't bust anyone
else's chops when he reviews it.
Footlight
Records
An absolute must if there's something you
can't find. If you can't find it here, you'll either have to take
your chances with an on-line auction or it was never in print to begin
with.
FilmTracks
I occasionally pluck a line from one of the
reviews on this page (and as of this update, there were 599 soundtracks
reviewed...more than I've ever heard combined) and post it. Usually
when I disagree, but, as I say, in aesthetics, there are no rights or wrongs.
Just opinions.
Scorelogue
Web Magazine
I just found this page. It seems to
be intriguing, albeit a bit conservative. They also have the top
101 film scores of the 20th Century (all time, realistically speaking),
with honorable mentions to boot. Worth a look.
Soundtrack
Review Central
This guy's page is done up so much better
than mine, but, as far as reviews go, he has about as much work ahead of
him as I do. Nevertheless, you should check out his page, even if
it's just because his web design skills are far less lame than mine.
:)

Another list of sites (46 as of this update)
where you can probably find just about whatever info you're looking for.
I know MY site's a lot of help *snicker* ... When it's a little better,
I'll probably have this site join the ring...
