I'm living and teacing in Ilsan, which is part of Goyang(also spelled Koyang) City, a suburb of Seoul. At least I assume it's a suburb because it's attached to the Seoul Subway system.
I came here in January, 2002 shortly after I graduated from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba where I majored in Finance and Management Information Systems.
I'm 25 years old and although I don't have any plans to be a professional teacher, I wanted to travel. However, debts I piled up during school have to be paid off first which is why I choose the opportunity to travel to Asia. The money is good and I get the chance to be a tourist on the weekends. Also, It seems that I've had a job in practically every industry so I figured, why not try being a teacher.
