DJ's Profiles of the Maximals

Air Razor

Air Razor is a fun loving young Maximal. Her blaster has small arrows with explosives incased which detonate on contact. Her falcon mode is very swift and quick, and so is her robot mode. She makes a great addition to the Maximal team.

Albitron

Albitron loves war, and was reluctant to join the Axalon's crew. He is glad he did, because the Beast Wars are his kind of battle. In Crocodile mode he can crush Predacons between his mighty jaws, and in robot mode he can use his mega blaster to finish them off.

Armordillo

Armordillo is tough, but not very smart. But since his function is front line combat, it doesn't really matter. His lack of intelligence does not make him a target for practical jokes from his fellow Maximals, because he is an understanding guy. His launcher cause shrapnel explosions, which is perfect to draw off nearby ennemies, and his ballchain weapon can knock out Predacons. His armordillo mode is nearly impregnable, because of that large shell.

B'Boom

B'Boom is a both smart and strong, a deadly combination. He can take down Predacons with his bare hands, but prefers using his chest missiles to take them down. He has gratitude for Optimus Primal, who saved him a long time ago from a ship crash, and will do anything for him. His mandrill mode is very agile and strong.

Bonecrusher

Bonecrusher is big, strong and hot tempered. The Predacons know if they see him on the battlefield, they'd better run, because if they make him mad, they probably won't walk out functional. In his buffalo mode, he can ram his head hard enough to break rocks. In robot mode he can shoot ultra missiles from his mouth, and those missiles can break some of the strongest armor ever.

Brawn

Brawn is an Autobot from the Great War. He is a battle veteran who enjoys telling his war stories, but enjoys living them even more. His rhino mode is rough and can impale Predacons in his large horn. In robot mode he can launch shrapnel from his wrist launchers.

Cheetor

Cheetor is a young Maximal who has dreams of being a hero. He does his best to follow orders, but because he tries too hard he screws up a lot. He admires the other Maximals a lot, and is best friends with Taz Kid. He adores his cheetah mode, which makes him one of the fastest Maximals around. In robot mode he has a mega blaster and a quasar cannon.

Claw Jaw

Claw Jaw has a squid for a beast mode, which doesn't make him see a lot of action, and that's the way he likes it. He signed on the mission to explore, and with his underwater beast mode, he can swim one end of the planet to the other and dicover new things. In robot mode, he can use his energon boomerang to paralyse his ennemies.

Cybershark

Cybershark's beast mode is that of a hammerhead shark, one of the deadliest underwater predators, and he's got an attitude to match! He dislikes his beast mode for one thing: being an underwater animal doesn't let him get as much action as he'd want. But in robot mode he can use his battle blade and his super cannon to do as much fighting as he wants.

Dinobot

Dinobot is a former Predacon, who felt his honor codes dissapproved with the Predacon goals. He decided to join the Maximals, and he remains loyal to them, but not all Maximals trust him.His raptor mode is deadly, as is his robot mode with optic blasters, spinning blade and battle sword.

Grimlock

Grimlock is the biggest and strongest of all the Maximals. An Autobot from the great war, he got much smarter than he was 300 years ago, although he still speaks a primitive language. His raptor mode is about as large as a T-rex, and in robot mode he can use his battle sword, and spinning blade with a mega blaster located in its center. His brutality is well known by all.

Grizzly-One

Grizzly-One is a true optimistic. He can always see the good side of any situation, and always tries to cheer up his fellow Maximals. And every Maximal can be happy knowing that Grizzly-One is watching his back, because he can take out enemies from about a mile away with his paw launchers. He also has a cyberbat which he uses for spying and recon. His Grizzly bear mode is very imposing and can crush rocks with his paws.

Ironhide

Ironhide is a former Autobot who fought during the great war. His elephant mode's tusks become battle spears in robot mode, and he can use his megacannons and claw weapon to handle problems. He is a brave and strong Maximal who has every reason to say he can take on any Predacon he meets.

K-9

K-9 is a tracker, and in his dog mode he can sniff up any prew from miles away. While not very strong, he has enough brains and agility to make up for it. His tail becomes a grappler cannon in robot mode.

Optimus Primal

Optimus Primal is a brave young Maximal who was selected to lead this squad against Megatron's troops. His courage and battle skills have made him earn the respect of every single Maximal, including veterans like Prowl and Ratchet. In his bat mode, he can use his sonic screams to disrupt his ennemies's circuits. In robot mode he has a pair of extremely sharp swords and a blaster pistol. His past is clouded in mystery, and he seems to understand the younger ones's actions.

Outback

Outback is very strong, agile and cunning. His ape mode is powerful and agile, and in robot mode he is covered in artillery. His shoulder guns launch extremely powerful missiles, he has a dual quasar blaster located in his left wrist, and a battle mace whip in his right wrist. He dislikes using those weapons, but feels it is the only way to defeat the Predacons.

Packrat

Packrat is a total show-off. Whenever he steals something he's gonna go brag about it to everyone else. Even the person he stole it from! This can sometimes get him into trouble because no one ends up liking him. Until he saves all of their asses in the middle of trouble. Then he goes bragging about it and the cycle starts all over again.

Polar Claw

Polar Claw enjoys nothing more than the cold. Which is why he chose a polar bear for his beast mode. He prefers working alone and kicking a lot of ass. His paw launcher is an extremely powerful weapon, and his cyberbat is the perfect tool for spying on the Predacons.

Prowl

Prowl, a former Autobot from the great war, is probably one of, if not the smartest of all Maximals. He can find his way out of any situation, and his gun can launch both mega missiles or small corrosive blasts. His lion mode is very swift and fast, and his skills make him the perfect second-in-command for this mission.

Ratchet

Ratchet is the team's medic. He dislikes fighting and doesn't beleive himself to be a warrior. His panther mode is very fast and swift, which is perfect to go pick up the wounded on the battlefield. His medical skills are unmatched. His tail becomes a blaster in robot mode.

Rattrap

Rattrap is a practical joker, an expert marksman and a demolitions expert. He is also very pessimistic by nature, and when the Maximals start losing the fight he beleives all is lost. He is also a bit self centered. His small rat mode makes him perfect for spy missions. His arsenal includes detonators and a microgrenade launcher.

Razorbeast

Razorbeast may be small, but he is strong enough to take on a Predacon twice his size. However, he often overestimates himself to take on near impossible odds. In his wild boar mode he can ram down even the largest of trees, and when he transforms he can use either his incredible strengh or his two plasma blasters to take down his opponents.

Rhinox

Rhinox is the Maximal equivalent to the Autobot legend Wheeljack. He's always inventing new gadgets of any type, from blasters to communication devices. His rhino mode his very powerful, and in robot mode he can use his battle sword or his automatic grenade cannon to take down opponents His strengh and intelligence make him a great addition to the Maximal ranks.

Sandstorm

Sandstorm loves nothing more than heat, whether is is the heat of a battle or the heat of the desert. Which is why Primal appointed him to front line combat and desert reconnaissance, and why he selected a desert scorpion as a beast mode. In robot mode he can use his cyberbee to spy on Predacon activities, his claw cannons to take down Predacons or his laser sting to get out of really sticky situations.

Sunstreaker

Sunstreaker must be the most self centered Maximal ever. An Autobot from the great war, some are amazed that with his arrogance he hasn't been destroyed yet. However, his skills as a marksman and a fighter might be the reason for him still being functional. He is convinced that his eagle mode is the sleekest and most wonderful beast mode of all. In robot mode he can use his wing cannons and battle blades to show off his battle skills and take out Predacons.

Taz Kid

Taz Kid is Cheetor's best friend. Although he had hoped for a better beast mode than a tasmanian devil, he likes it a lot and wouldn't trade it for any other. In robot mode, he can use his tail cannon to deal with nearby targets.

Tigatron

Tigatron is a peaceful Maximal, until he is threatened. Falling out of the ship upon crashing and into the northern regions of the planet, his identity circuits have been damamged, and he feels more beast than transformer. He chose to remain in the north to defend it from Predacon attackers. If a Predacon survives his tiger mode's attacks, he won't survive Tigatron's freeze gun and plasma cannon.

Wolfang

Wolfang's wolf mode describes him well: he is a fast, ferocious attacker. He is nearly as good a tracker as K-9 is, but he is much stronger that K-9 is. He beleives brains belong in scientific studies, not in battle where muscle is all that matters. He can use his tail grappler to impale his ennemies, or to help him climb mountains.
