| See how to turn your favorite living books into cherished books for your children. We will explore: Great writers, how books effect us, what we can learn from them, inspirational reading quotes & poems, Charlotte Mason literature-based teaching method, how to discern different types of literature, the definitions of a living book, a whole book, and "twaddle", and anything book/mother/child related. EDUCATIONAL INTENT: We will investigate the numerous ways of creating a whole education out of a living book. We will look at English-educator, Charlotte Mason's, literature-based teaching method. We will explore learning with implementing living literature with lapbook learning. Remember how books inspired you to seek your highest aspirations and ideals? See how sharing those childhood books with your children will shape and nurture them. Look for my book Literature Alive! coming out Spring 2003! |
