~ A Little More About Greg And I ~
Greg and I are from Tennessee and live there now. Greg was born in Tennessee, but was pretty much raised in Georgia. I was born in Tennessee and have been here all of my life.
Greg and I both come from small families. Greg has an older brother and I have a younger brother. I am happy to report that my parents and Greg's parents are still married and together! That is such a rare thing these days! We sure are glad that they beat the statistics!
Greg and I have many interests. Some we share, some we don't. Greg enjoys watching and playing sports with Golf being his all time favorite. He plays golf every chance he gets. Greg is a huge UT VOLS fan and I on the other hand am a big ATLANTA BRAVES fan. I usually leave Greg alone when he is watching the Vols on T.V. as I don't understand the game and have no intention of ever trying! *S* Some of Greg's other interests include shooting(this goes hand in hand with him being a LEO), movies and trivia. We both love History and anything Historical.
I have many interests...way too many to list, but here are some of my favorites; I enjoy gardening, scrapbooking, genealogy, playing on the computer, cooking and collecting recipes, reading, watching old movies. I can't tell you how many times I've seen "Gone With The Wind" as this is my all-time favorite movie. I started watching this with my mother as a child and watch it at least once or twice a year. It seems I still find something new that I haven't seen each time I watch it! Early in our relationship Greg and I watched this movie together and he actually liked it and sat through the whole movie, although he didn't have the most wonderful opinion of Scarlett when it was over! *S*
A few months later on Christmas Eve...I found a copy of this movie in my stocking! Now I don't have to wait until it is on television. (Greg helped Santa out with this one!)
Greg and I have both been married before and this will be the second go around for the both of us. I have a wonderful 12 year old daughter, Ashley, and Greg has no children of his own. We hope to someday have at least one child together. Greg and I have a pup(well, not any more!) named Ginger who is a boxer. We love Ginger dearly and she is like a child to us. She is VERY spoiled and most definately a "Daddy's Girl", but wouldn't you know it...she always comes to me when she is hungry! ~ Ginger was a gift to me from Greg two years ago.
There are many causes that Greg and I support which I will share with you below. Not all are listed as we have too many and this page would be page(s) if we told you each and every thing we believed in or supported!
These are not listed in any particular order except the first which is the fight against any form of abuse.
Whether it is abuse of a child, an adult, or an animal it is still very wrong! Greg and I both support this cause very strongly as I have lived it(Was in an abusive relationship) and Greg sees and fights it daily while at work, and sometimes when he isn't at work.
It is not our intention in sharing this page with you to change your opinion about any of these causes and/or potentially offend anyone. This is just our way of letting everyone know what the two of us feel very strongly about.
