Mudshipping/Flameshipping Vs. Steamshipping/Valeshipping... In the eyes of Omniflyer

Ok, here we go. The next e-mail. Mia...
Okay, let's get this done with.

Hey, Triad.

I was thinking about the Jupiter Lighthouse scene, and thankfully for all us Mudshippers, I think I can disprove any evidence supporting G/M.

I think it has to do with plot. Think about it: Camelot needed two people in the trap and two people up top to make it a "fair fight" againt Karst and Agatio. Firstly, they needed Issac to be up top fighting because he carries the Mars Star, which Felix needed to take. So he needed to be out. Secondly, it made sense in a kind of "damsel in distress" way for Mia to be in trouble, at least at first, so she needed to be in the trap.

This leaves Garet and Ivan to be placed. I don't know if you've gotten there yet (based on your GS obsession, I'd say it's safe to say you probably have), but Mia says something to the effect of, "I can't pull you up, Garet; You're too heavy!" If they had placed Ivan in the trap, Mia could have easily pulled him up because he is younger and lighter than Garet. And if she had pulled him up, then the sense of urgency would be lost and the player wouldn't be as stressed to complete the lighthouse. So that's my thinking. It's just the only way the scene would have worked: Issac and Ivan up, and Garet and Mia down.

And before I leave, to Mia, your muse, I haven't seen Triad update in a LONG time...isn't this supposed to be your job? Let's get on the ball, here, huh?

Keep up the good work, Triad, I enjoy your fics and I think you've got great potential as a writer. I hope to see some actual books from you in the future.

Well put, Omniflyer. After reading this e-mail, I hypothesiesed further why the scene would only work like it did. (By this point, I HAVE seen the actual scene.) As well, besides Mia being able to pull up Ivan should he be in the trap, look at Garet. Garet's huge. He can easily overpower Karst in a duel of raw strength and is probably about even with Agatio. Not only that, Garet's a tank. He could take a hit and still keep going just fine, and on top of that, Garet's Mars aligned, meaning he is nearly immune to the effects of Karst and Agatio's Psynergy. Think of the scene that way. It wouldn't have worked as easily if Garet had been the one to be up on the platform with Isaac. Well thought out, Omniflyer! Thanks for the email! Now, go read Midnight's e-mail if you haven't already.
