The Unlucky Shoelace
This is the story of a young boy and his journey through life with an unlucky shoelace. When the young boy turned 17 he got a new pair of basketball shoes. he wore them to every game and kept them in a safe place when he wasn't wearing them. In every game that he wore the shoes, the team scored at least 36 points. He figured his shoes were lucky since his team won many of their games - until the end. See, for every game they played, one person got hurt. They young boy contemplated this and searched for a reason for these mishaps. Surely it couldn't be the shoes. He went home and looked up his shoes on the internet. He pulled up the page and it said "WARNING: These shoes have unlucky shoelaces!!". The young boy gasped and almost started to cry. He went to his shoes and tore out the laces. He threw them in the trash can and smiled. No more bad luck! The next game he wore the shoes since they obviously helped the team win. But one thing, the young boy forgot to replace his shoelaces and fell and broke his nose. The End.
