CAMPOBELLO, June 28 -- Mrs. Effie Marie Wagner Gilbert, 58, wife of Carl L. Gilbert, and resident of Campbello, died Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in a Spartanburg Hospital following an extended illness.
Surviving are: her husband and one son, Carl L. Gilbert, Jr. of the home.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Wood Mortuary in Greer by the Rev. Milford Vaughn. Burial will be in Zion Methodist Church Cemetery near Easley.
The following nephews will be pallbearers: James Gilbert, O. T. Holloway, Jay Church, William Pruitt, Jack Gilbert, and Clyde Gilbert.
The body is at the home, and at 1 p.m. Friday will be returned to the mortuary for the service.
