Funeral services for Mrs. Hassie Gilbert, who died at her home on Second avenue, Park Place, will be held this morning at 11 o'clock from the Zion Methodist chruch in Pickens county. The Rev. U. G. Humphries will conduct the servieces and interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Gilbert died yesterday morning at 10 o'clock after an illness of several weeks. She was formerly a resident of Townes county, Georgia and was a member of the Zion Baptist church of that community.
She is survivied by her husband, W. F. Gilbert, four daughters; Mrs. L. N. Gilbert, Easley; Misses Minnie, Marie and Lola Gilbert, Greenville; three sons, Frank, Forrest and Carl Gilbert, Greenville; and two sisters, Mrs. Parie Lee Ledford of North Carolina, and Mrs. Olla Moss of Georgia.
