compiled by Anne TenagliaOld Black Rum– "And now we’ll take a dangerous trip. Not a physical one, but one through the dangerous waters of Bob’s mind." (Bob smiles and points to his head.) "Bob wrote this and insists it’s not autobiographical." (Bob smiles and shakes head NO)
Fast As I Can –Alan told the crowd, "If you ever want to write a song for your girlfriend, don’t write one where the lyrics say ‘I‘m not ready to say I love you yet." Then he goes on to tell us that said former girlfriend is now working as a cop. "Yeah, can you see if I get pulled over? Put your hands on the car, son… this might pinch a little’"
I Wanna Be Sedated/Oh Donna –Séan had to entertain the audience while Alan was busy trying to tune his guitar so they could do Captain Wedderburn. Séan launches into this song, sings about three verses and stops. "Are you ready yet, Alan?" "Keep going" Alan says as he’s bent over furiously trying to tune. Séan begins to sing the Donna song. "Have I tortured you enough?" he says to Alan. "No, not yet," Alan replies, still tuning. At this point Darrell comes over to help with the tuning and Séan is up there trying to explain that he usually doesn’t do all the talking, "Alan usually does this stuff because he is the eternal optimist and I’m not."
