Knotts Island North Carolina
and the
Knotts Island Market
179 years and getting better
Welcome to Knotts Island - Folks have been calling this place home since around 1633.  The market is one of the oldest continually operating businesses in Currituck County.  We are the sixth owners in the store's 179 years of providing goods to the island residents and visitors.

Visitors arrive to the island by either driving south on Princess Anne Road (HWY 615) from Virginia Beach, VA. Or, they arrive and depart by the NCDOT Ferry Boats which run frequently from the island's South End.

We'd also like to make sure you visit Knotts Island Market when you take your "Out in the Country Drives."  We carry a full line of groceries, deli, beer/wine and other items to make your trip to the island complete.  Motorcyclist and Boaters remember we sell
unformulated NON-ETHANOL - regular gasoline.  Take care of your recreational vehicles and treat them to real gasoline - not corn!  Fishing tackle, licesnses and bait are also available here.
So on your next visit  - make sure you stop by and say HOWDY.  We'd love to have you.
