Conditioning
Operant conditioning resulted in my forgetting to do my homework. My behavior was negatively reinforced when it removed the unpleasant stimulus of actually doing the homework. My conditioning contributed to my forgetfulness in this situation.
Memory
This is a failure of both semantic memory and prospective memory. I forgot the simple fact that I had spanish homework (semantic) and I failed to remember to perform this specific action in the future (prospective). |
