Error #15

Behavioral error:

Continually mixing up two young men at work named Paul and John

When/where:

Past 4 months, Enrico's Italian Dining

Why this is an error:

Obviously Paul and John are different people who do not share names.

Processes:

Memory
John and Paul's names were never properly encoded because I was never officially introduced to either of them. This ineffective coding resulted in a constant reliance on STM to keep their names straight. Due to the lack of rehearsal of information between times I worked with them, their names slipped forom STM without ever entering LTM, making retrieval nearly impossible. This error is pseudoforgetting; I never really learned their names to begin with.
