Candy was my first loan pony & what a great one to start on! She was 7 years old, her colour: I liked to call it lemon skewbald, it was down on her vet file as cream and white. I had her early - late 1998. She took me to my first showjumping show and we picked up a clear round rossette, boy could she jump though! The jumps were set at 1ft and she jumped them 3ft high! Needless to say we didn't increase the jumps much, when we did increase it to 3ft once, phew she must have cat leaped it at about 6ft!! She was a star! |

Tiptoe I had on loan late 1998 - early 1999. A 15.3h leopard spotted Apaloosa stallion. The most genuine horse I have ever met! He was a good showjumper although I never did any as we didn't have anywhere to jump, the fields were pure mud when I had him, he had quite a lot of BSJA winnnings and was destined to go far if they had had the facilities and time |

Teddy I had on loan 1999. A 14.2h welsh section D. 3years old when I first had him & I brought him on, we adored each other & he followed me everywhere. I took him to his first jumping show and he was a little star, after all he had only been jumping for a few months and we went clear. The owners sold him - if only! He was the best and when I get a horse of my own, I want one exactly like him, he was so intelligent and gorgeous! |
