Our home is about as far in West Texas as you can get without actually getting into New Mexico..
My name is Virginia Young and I was born in Morton, Texas and raised over almost all of the western states. George was born and raised in Sulligent, Alabama. I went to 21 different schools trying to graduate from High School. We were what you might call a migrant family. I have been researching the family history for several years now and really enjoy doing it. I spend a lot of time in front of my computer on Genealogy. My husband is suposed to be retired but seems to be working even more now than when he was young. We would like to do a lot more traveling than we get to do. We both love to go camping every chance we get. We have three daughters, and George has a son from his first marriage. We are blessed with 9 grandchildren. As you might guess, we nearly have to rent a public hall when Christmas comes around. We have been having our own "Young Family Reunion" now for eight years and enjoying it very much. We are hoping to keep it up at least once a year. We found a central point and we all meet there for 3 days to a week every spring before the weather get so unbearable.
