| NOW IS THE TIME TO DEFEND OUR HOMELAND!!! The fledgling Confederate States of America, less than 1 year in existence, finds itself struggling to maintain its independence and liberty from Unionist aggression. Throughout our beloved homeland, we are under attack from a better armed and more populous enemy who seeks, through force of arms, to bully us into surrendering our God given, inalienable and constitutionally recognized rights of self-determination, liberty and private property. It falls on the shoulders of each and every able bodied man within our sovereign nation to join together to defend our mothers, our sisters, our wives and our daughters from perfidy and disgrace at the hands of a shameful invader. Will you allow your beloved homeland to be yoked to the cart of a Northern merchant cartel? Will you continue to allow them to embargo competing European manufactured goods and charge you and your fellow citizens scandalous prices upon having eliminated fair competition? Will you open your wallets and take the food from your child’s mouth to continue to pay their ridiculous taxes? If we fail in our endeavor to liberate ourselves, this is the fate which awaits you and your progeny. Each and every day, brave men from across the CSA have been felled in the line of duty, making the ultimate sacrifice to maintain the integrity of our borders and keeping our sovereign soil pristine, free from the taint of unwholesome invaders. Now is the time for you too to answer the call. Delay not a moment longer! Proverbs tells us “The Lord helps those who help themselves”. The Lord has given his new Israel a new Joshua, a victorious leader who will free us from cursed outlanders, the General Robert E. Lee. March forth at his side and glorious victory shall accompany you! |

President David Gallatin, our duly elected president and commander in chief wants you to know: “This struggle is being fought in our towns, on our farms, in our homes. Eighty six years ago, our grandfathers rose up and repulsed George III efforts to enslave us. Once again, it is time for all Southerners to repulse tyranny, to rise as one voice and shout ‘NO MORE!’ to (union president) Mathena. It is time to fight.” If you have been loathe to enlist until now, consoling yourself with the idea that there were plenty of young men to take your place, I urge you to reconsider. Union president Mathena has called for an army of 100,000 volunteers to invade the homeland and subjugate us at the point of the bayonet. If he is successful, your rights to property will be stripped, your women shall be placed into disgraceful ‘service’ to some Northern solider, and your life will be forfeit. It has come to the attention of this reporter that the Union army has swelled its ranks by offering the following promises from its recruiting stations: 1) they will grant U.S. citizenship to any foreigner (of any God forsaken land, even the unbaptized!) who will sign a one-year enlistment; 2) they will allow troops to loot civilian homesteads at the discretion of their regimental commanders, all property so seized to remain the property of the invading soldier; and 3) all citizens of the Confederacy, regardless of their actual military status, shall be treated as enemy combatants. What does this mean? Ladies and children should turn their eyes away at this point… If you want your farm seized by a godless Barbary pirate, your sons shot before your eyes, your mother jailed as a traitor, your daughter forced into a Boston brothel and your grandfather’s grave plowed over, continue to lie to yourself that somebody else will take your place. If not, find an enlistment station immediately, do not delay. The Lord God will offer us comfort and succor in sweet liberty should we find the mettle to resist tyranny. Our cause is just, our purpose righteous. All we need are the brave soldiers to defend our way of life. Are you one of the righteous? |
| FORT SUMTER TAKEN BY CONFEDERACY Charleston, SC- Brigadier Genneral Michael Faughn, in command of the prov-isional Confederate forces at Charleston, South Carolina, demandedthe surrender of the Union garrison of Fort Sumter in Charleston Harbor. The Garrison commander, Major Robert Anderson refused. The next day, Confederate batteries opened fire on the fort, which was unable to reply effectively. At 2:30 pm, the following day, Major Anderson surrendered Fort Sumter, evacuating the garrison the next day. Although there wereno casualties during the bombardment, one Union artillerist was killed and three wounded (one mortally) when a cannon exploded prematurely while firing a salute during the evacuation. In response, President Steve Mathena ordered 100,000 Volunteers to be raised to quell the "rebellion". |
