wake-up call ever on 9/11
Although they have cleared away the debris at
Ground Zero, the experience has
only begun to ignite the world with a sense of unity.
Let this experience remind us that
nobody is promised a tomorrow.
We need to make the most of today.
No need to save for a rainy day.
Enjoy what you have today, before it slips away.
Peace IS the way
filled with daily challenges and chaos.
Oppressed by people in charge, they are
constantly making new rules to take away what we build.
If you aren't careful,
they may try to write you a ticket for smiling too much.
They say we have a right to free speech,
but if you try to exercise that option,
you might be clubbed or perhaps even be tear gassed.
You do have a gas mask.... don't you?
If the events of 9/11 were meant to attack our freedom,
they have certainly won.
We must bond together, and Love.
Fear will only bring more oppressors to power.
Don't let them win.
Make changes in yourself today.
Let go of the anger, and the fear.
Recycle the energy of the flames to
fuel the creation of your dreams.
Think of others not only as cities, nations and countries.
Think of others as people.
Love IS the Answer
