Me and My Guy Masquerade Ball
KC Hall 6389     St Amant
Over 100 girls and their best guys attended. Prizes were awarded for best costumes. Participants brought non-perishable food items that were
donated to the KC Food Bank. A silent auction was held with the proceeds donated to Camp Marydale Horse Program.
JANUARY 14
Cookie Rally    
First United Methodist Church--Gonzales
Troops made their way from station to station partipating in various activities, such as safety, incentives, goals, sales, etc. 2006 Cookie was the Bronze Award Project for Junior Troop 962
FEBRUARY 17-19
Service Unit Campout--Camp Marydale
Carnival Around the World
Campout theme celebrated Thinking Day. Each troop represented a different country by creating a float that told the story about that country. Troops also planted tress at Marydale in honor of Arbor Day. T-shirt Design winner, Julia, received a commerative plaque.
MARCH 24-25
Around the World Lock-In
First United Methodist Church--Gonzales
Troops "traveled" to China, England, France, India, Turkey and the US, participating in craft, song, dance, games  and sharing from the heart workshops. Each troop donated items for Brave Heart Children.
APRIL 1
Troops Supporting Troops
K C Hall 6389--St Amant
BASF purchased numerous cases of Girl Scout cookies for US troops serving overseas. Gonzales SU 632 and Prairieville SU 631
came together to create cards of thanks and encouragement to send with cookies. Guest speakers were Doug Beckwith and Dona Scott who have family serving in the armed forces.
