NOVEMBER 25, 2007     BRAVEHEART CHILDREN GIFT WRAPPING
SU 632 SERVICE PROJECT EVENT
The event was a huge success thanks to 60+ girls and adult volunteers who wrapped over 1,200 gifts for Brave Heart Children, a non-profit organization the helps children in foster care. Gifts were donated by SU 632 troops and Avon, wrapping paper by Big Lots. KC #6389 donated their facility. Troops participating: 103, 121, 174, 340, 348, 500, 506, 842, 962

JANUARY 13, 2007    AUDUBON COUNCIL COOKIE RALLY

SU 632 COOKIE DELIVERY to  ST AMANT FIRE DEPARTMENT
GIRL & ADULT VOLUNTEERS
Several SU 632 troops and adult volunteers particiapted in the council cookie rally held in downtown Baton Rouge. Theme for cookies was "STEP IT UP!" The event started with a walk from North Blvd to the State Capitol area, then back to the start where girls visited several cookie stations for cookie tasting, learning about healthy eating habits, cookie selling techniques and motivation, and safety tips...SU 632 surpassed their sales goals. It was a good year for Girl Scout Cookies in the Gonzales area.
FEBRUARY 9-10, 2007 SU 632 TV LAND LOCK-IN
140+ girls and adult volunteers particiapted in the annual lock-in. As the night progressed, troops went from program to program. "Amazing Race" solving clues and puzzles to find the treasure-"Project Runway" designing clothes for paper models-"American Idol" karaoke singing-"ESPN" fish out of water and hula hoop games-"So You Think You Can Dance" learning a hip hop dance-"Animal Planet" making an elephant pendant necklace and animal doorhanger-"America's Next Top Model" fashion show. The service project was the BR Zoo Elephant Oasis. Girls were given the opportunity to donate their spare change, totaling $184.50 WBRZ and the BR Zoo came by to except the donations and to thank everyone.
The event was held at Knights of Columbus Hall 6389. Girl Scouts and their families came  for good food, fellowship, face painting, fun and games.
MARCH 31, 2007  SU FAMILY DAY
APRIL 27-29, 2007  TROOP CAMPING TICKFAW STATE PARK
The weekend consisted of troops tent camping, cookieng their own meals, night and day hiking, camp songs and games at Tickfaw State Park near Springfield, Louisiana. Girls also learned the basics of Girl Scout camping.

SU AWARDS BANQUET
Girl Scouts and their families celebrated the patches and awards  the girls had earned during the past year, and several troops bridged.

SUMMER DAZE SCRAPBOOKING WORKSHOP
Several troops participated in the workshop to create a mini scrapbook of their summer activities. Each attendee received supplies to create a unique scrapbook for her own summer and beach themed pictures.
