Nicole and Dana exploring the Hill House front door.
Over the past few months we here at the KWPRS have been looking for a haunted abandoned house. What better place to find a ghost than in an old farm house out in the country. What kind of Scoobies would we be if we could'nt find one. So we did some searching around and discovered The Hill House!
The investigation of Hill House started with an excited pep talk from Nicole. This was our first abandoned house and we needed a little something to 'brave us up' as Nicole put it. We were gonna be strong. We were gonna be brave. We were gonna kick in the door and pull that ghost out by his tail. We were ready for anything.
As we pulled up towards the house it seemed to be the only thing around besides the highway, and we pulled the car up the long dirt path and parked. The first thing that we noticed was that the house was huge,  much bigger than it had looked when we were driving up. The four of us (plus Steve) got out of the now packed car and began to unload all the equipment.
We started off investigating the side of the house. The windows were all boarded up and shattered. There was an overwhelmingly creepy feeling and everyone was very slow moving and stayed together in groups. The grass hadn't been mowed in years and wild weeds grew up and around the house, making it very hard for us to make our way up to the actual house.
After investigating the entire outside of the house we decided not to enter after finding some things that made us all a bit uneasy. Instead we turned our attention to the little horse stable just off to the left of the house. It was made from slabs of stone, old wood and again covered in weeds.  To our surprise we found what appeared to be a wire noose hanging from the ceiling. The noose was not  new, the wire was rusted and looked almost as old as the stable. We searched around a bit more and headed off.
You didnt think we would end it like that do you? This fall the formal KWPRS investigation of The Hill House!
