| The KWPRS investigated a local Waterloo home. The owners suspected that the house was haunted. We arrived around 7:00 pm and it was rather warm. The atmosphere of the house was very calm and everyone was excited to see if anything interesting would happen. We started by placing the audio in the main bedroom, then headed downstairs and began taking pictures. We then took some time to hear some of the experiences the homeowners have had while living in the home. The following is a story the homeowners shared with us. |
| In 1983 the homeowners were remodling the basement section of the house. As Mr.B worked downstairs fixing a bookcase, he remembers hearing the side door open and slam shut loudly. Thinking it might have been the dog, he quickly ran to the door. He checked the driveway and the dog was no were to be found. Mr.B headed back into the house and into the main bedroom, were Mrs.B had been sleeping. As he entered the room Mrs.B was waking up from a nap, and the dog was sleeping soundly on the floor next to the bed. *The following is what happened to Mrs.B during the same time* Mrs.B had been sleeping and was suddenly awoken. Standing in the doorway to the bedroom was an older man holding a lunch box and a little girl with long brown hair. The man and child stood in the doorway for a few moments and then the man walked away. Mrs.B remembered the man had been wearing clothes that looked as though it would have been in style during the 40's. Mrs.B remembers saying to the girl "I dont know who you are" the child replied "My name is Lisa". Mrs.B sat up to greet her guests but they were gone. Just then Mr.B entered the room. At a later time Mr and Mrs.B had been talking with the previous homeowner Mrs.Polikowsky. She had mentoned that her husband and daughter had died while living in the home. When Mrs.B asked what her daughters name had been. Mrs Polikowsky replied "Lisa, why?" |
| Here are some other things that have happened in Lisa and Victors home. |
| - A tamborine in one of the back rooms has played by itself manytimes (its also mounted on the wall). - A kitchen cupboard door slammed shut loudly in front of two people (it was not windy). - A heavy flower pot flew off the wall and across the back porch.. - Strange sounds. - The sounds of huge amounts of breaking glass (like someone had dragged there arm across a counter with lots of glass on it). When the noise was checked out there was no glass broken and nothing had been moved. |
| When we were there we had some really strange stuff happen to our audio. During a question and answer session, the audio would turn itself on and off by itself. We captured lots of orbs. The main bedroom was very cold and when you entered it there was almost a pins and needles feeling in your whole body, it was also hard to breath. We all had a creepy feeling in the house. Dana and Nicole monitered the temperature and in one room the temperature went down 10'c within 10 min. No one had turned on a fan or airconditoning, the temperature just kept falling. Especally around Mrs.B. We all came to the conclusion that the house had to be haunted not just because of what happened to Mr and Mrs.B, but because of all the proof that we collected! |
