MEMO FROM:GOD To: YOU Date: TODAY From: THE BOSS Subject: YOURSELF Reference: LIFE I am God. Today I will be handling all of your problems. Please remember that I do not need your help. If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve it. Kindly put it in the SFGTD(something for God to do)box. It will be addressed in My time, not yours. Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold on to it. Holding on or removal will delay the resolution of your problem. If it is a situation that you think you are capable of handling, please consult with me in prayer to be sure that this is the proper resolution. Because I do not sleep nor do I slumber, there is no need for you to lose any sleep. Rest my child. If you need to contact me, I am only a prayer away. ******************************************************************************************** If you find yourself stuck in traffic; Don't despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege Should you have a bad day at work; Think of the man who has been out of work for years. Should you despair over a relationship gone bad; Think of the person who has never known what it's like to love and be loved in return. Should you grieve the passing of another weekend; Think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children. Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance; Think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk. Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror; Think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine. Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity. Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or securities; Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Colossians 3:15 (KJV) ******************************************************************************************** Regardless how successful a person seems, there are some things that money just can't buy. For example, I can be the richest man in the world and have no peace. I call that a rich-poor man. I can have great peace and no money. That's a poor-rich man. However, someone who has the ability to care for themselves and others with no stress, strain or strife, and has great peace; well, I call that a prosperous man! Regardless of where we go in life, who we meet, we'll find people searching for peace. You can find great peace when you give life and all of it's hassles to God through Jesus Christ. He can bring rest to your mind and peace to your spirit. He'll cause your sleep to be sweet, rather than restlessly tossing and turning throughout the night. He can cause you to have great joy in being with Him alone, rather than placing all of your hopes in a man or woman. God's peace is powerful; once you have it, you won't want to leave home without it! ****************************************************************************************** I will live through the next 12 hours and try not to tackle all of life's problems at once. I will improve my mind. I will learn something useful. I will learn something that requires effort, thought and concentration. I will be agreeable I will look my best, speak in a well-modulated voice, be courteous and considerate. I will not find fault with friend, relative or colleague. I will not try to change or improve anyone but myself. I will have a program. I might not follow it exactly, but I will have it. will save myself from two enemies- hurry and indecision. I will do a good turn and keep it a secret.; If anyone finds out, it won't count. I will do two things I don't want to do, just for the exercise. I will believe in myself. I will give my best to the world and feel confident that the world will give its best to me. |
