PROJECT WORK CARRIED OUT AT :

Electronics And Radar Development Establishment (L.R.D.E),
Defense R & D Organization,
C.V.Raman Nagar,
Bangalore - 560 093
IMPLEMENTATION DETAILS AND GENERAL CONSTRAINTS :
  • Developed using Borland C++ on Windows NT.
  • Can run on any IBM compatible PC workstation running Windows NT/95/98/ME
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS :
  • Design and implementation of a lexical analyzer / scanner that could scan through the source code and prepare tokens.
  • Design of algorithms to implement the various software complexities and metrics.
  • Direct import of static analysis summaries into spreadsheet and database packages.
  • A formal software development process (IEEE conventions and standards) was followed through out the development of the system.
PROJECT OVERVIEW :

The objective of this project is to analyze the complexity and the various parameters of the source code written in C / C++. This is a CASE tool for quantitative measurement of different software metrics, which can be used by students and software developers for efficiently implementing software engineering in project development. This would help the programmer reduce the time and effort spent on the testing phase, which by far is the phase, which requires the maximum time and effort in the software development life cycle. Hence the system helps decrease the redundancy in the source code and write more efficient code.
