I make no personal comments on any other album, but this is a fucking monster fantastic peice of work. Classic tracks by T. Rex, Lou Reed, Brian Eno, Roxy etc... and contemporary covers/original songs for the film by Pulp, Placebo, Shudder to Think and amalgamation all-star bands featuring members of Radiohead, Mudhoney, Stooges, and Sonic Youth.Many of the covers are even better than the source, and all of the original songs for the movie are much improved over the versions in the film. Despite some oversights, and lack of Bowie (David didn't release the rights to Todd Haynes.) this is an amazing collection and a must-have for any glam fan, fledgeling or diehard.
