Now... let me tell you, Poison is one of the most awesome bands from the 80's and is still alive and kicking. Poison's glam make-up and outrageous outfits have been turning people's heads for a long time now, that and their outstanding music, is why Poison has always been the talk of the town. Every since Poison first hit Sunset Strip in Hollywood California, the talk has gone on. Not all the talk has been good . Like the time when the media got wind that Poison had a condom dispenser on the tour bus. The media went on a frenzy, bashing them, calling them "sex crazed" and "immoral". They hit Poison every second they could get and they never let up. But that made the fans go crazy. It brought more attention and some may say attention no matter bad or good is still attention. Poison got just that!
Rock was on the rise and Poison was there to bathe in it. Now in my book, Poison never got what they really deserved and that is an award for their awesome ability to write, play and perform. I think Poison should have that award and I think the fans do to. No matter what the media has said, it has never stopped the fans from loving them.
The fans of Poison can be found all over the world from The United states, to Europe,to even Japan.
Even though Poison was and still is every parent's nightmare, they were and have always been the fans' biggest dream.
Poison outstanding music and their love for their fans, puts them in the top ten .
They have gone on to sell millions of CD's..
This year 2002, Poison put out a new album called "HOLLYWEIRD".
It is a wonderful CD with a great vibe and a wonderful new sound. CC Deville even sings some lead on some of the songs, making this album even HOTTER !
Let's talk concerts. Poison puts on one of the best shows I have ever seen : their lights, pyro and effects are, to say the least, out of this world. When Poison hits the stage, the crowd goes crazy and no matter what, anyone who gets to see this awesome band play will never forget the energy they find while they are there. It's like one big party ! Drawing in people from all ages just to see them in action.

Rikki Rockett, Bobby Dall and CC Deville are a wonderfully talented bunch of guys. Even though this band has had troubles and at one point split up, they are back together and in top form. Myself, I find this band wild, zany and crazy. I am hooked!
I love each and everyone of them, from the lead singer Bret's sexy looks and powerful voice to Bobby and his bad ass bass playing.From Rikki the Rockett man on drums, to the mean green guitarist CC Deville. This band in my book will always be number one. Long live Poison! |
