Rhodes-Devey Bobblehead!

The Times Union is showing a bizarre new interest in local high school sports. They feature a different fall sport every day of the week (T-F) and cover Cross-Country on Friday's. The new feature is a full page of interviews, rankings, spotlight stories and the weekly virtual "bobblehead" doll.

This weeks bobblehead is none-other-than our very own Brian Rhodes-Devey. Here's what the TU had to say about him:

Guilderland freshman Brian Rhodes-Devey is the Dutchmen’s top varsity runner. He knocked a minute off his previous best time (16:12) while finishing a strong fourth Tuesday against powerhouse Shenendehowa and Columbia. ‘‘He’ll get 15:50 before the season’s over,’’ said his coach, Bob Oates. ‘‘For a freshman, he’s cruising.”
