Bring and Buy
The Wappinshaw Bring and Buy is one of the busiest of the year in Scotland, you can find it on the stage at the end of the hall.
Please bring your goods clearly priced, leaving room for the adminstration lot number on the label, and be ready to fill in the administration form when you arrive - particularly if you are putting in several lots. Sorry but we don't have carrier bags for purchases (that would bump up the door price for everyone). There is a 10% charge deducted from all Bring & Buy sales

Travel & access
Subway: The Glasgow subway station St George Cross is very close to Glenfarg Street. The Buchanan Street subway station has an exit directly into Queen Street railway station, while Argyle Street subway station is very close to Central Station
Exiting St. George Cross follow the stairway up to the right as you exit the station, cross the road towards the bath store, cross Maryhill Road at the pedestrian crossing, bear left and then turn right beside the Thistle Bar.
Bus: Routes to and from the city centre run along Maryhill Road. the 40 runs by Central station and 109 runs to the Buchanan bus station.
Car: Woodside Halls are not far from the M8. Exit at junction 18. If you're coming from the East (via the M80, M74 etc.) bear right (yes, it's a weird junction) to come off the motorway for "Kelvingrove and Charing X", bear right along the slip road as soon as you turn onto the road at the end, cross both lanes and take the first turning across the central reservation to turn back. Bear left immediately across the 2 lanes that would take you back onto the motorway into the third lane which is marked "A804 & Woodlands" and goes to the right of the shop on the corner called "Au Naturale" and this takes you past a car dealership and under a bridge. Turn left immediately after the bridge onto Maryhill Road, then turn right at the Thistle Bar.
Parking: There is on street car parking beside the hall, it is normally metered with a maximum stay of 3 hours, but when I last checked it was free on Saturdays - but obviously you'll need to check for yourself on the day and traders' vehicles will be using a lot of spaces.
Ramp access for wheelchairs etc is at the side of the hall (ask the club members at the main door if you need assistance) and there is disabled parking in front of the halls.
