The Peelers aint exactly roaring into the end of their first three year cycle,more stumbling towards it. However we still have an opportuntiy with our next three or four selections to steady the ship. Lets see if we can.

VODAFONE today lost 6% as shareholder HUTCHISON WHAMPOA started selling part of its stake,dont know why but this starts either making VODAFONE look cheap or ready for bailing out of.
TRAFFICMASTER is another share that has fallen by the wayside. The company has been profitable but is expected to fall into the red at full year around March due to the costs of rolling out through Europe.
The chairman of MICE GROUP bought 50000 shares at 127.5p on 050101,,,shares gained slightly on the back of this,,,,,in SEPT 2000 the group had announced a 37% increase in profits.
INTER LINK FOODS has gobbled up another cake firm,NEWTON HOUSE BAKERIES,for 4 million quid and raised nearly 6 million via a rights issue which we never took up cos we were trying to sell 'em!!
And...shhhhh..CAMMELL LAIRD is getting rid of another 250 unsuspecting staff taking the shares down to even lower ground. Its difficult even to see thisone as a recovery play due to an apparent lack of forward orders.
Meanwhile tipsters,papers and brokers have released good noises about some of our shares this weekend.............
