After
wins over Downpatrick and Clann Eireann, Glen reached their first Ulster final
to meet the Monaghan champions. Glen took control from the start, and
never looked like losing their grip on the game. Glens overall strength
and experience secured the win and deservedly so after so many years of
heartache for the club. Glen scorers : Nuala O'Hagan 3-0, Ursula Mullan
1-5, MJ Walls 0-4, and 0-1 from Dervla McMaster, Maria McAlary, Michelle McAteer
and Louise Glass.
This Sunday Glen play Naomh Abán of Cork in the All-Ireland semi-final at Glen. As much support as possible is asked to come out to support the girls.
