The Senate No. 4 (27/OCT/1984): The Supreme Being of Consciousness, by whatever name, is of a nature that carries out a process of continual expansion by which the known continues to reach into the unknown.

It would be of little benefit for us, The Senate, to try to explain the idea of God Consciousness because we would probably give you an untrue and very limited picture. Only this can we say, The Supreme Mind of Creative Consciousness is involved in the finest fabrics and gossamer weavings of all existing things - physical or spiritual. There is an undercoating of Supreme Consciousness in the finest fabrics of all consciousness. There is an inherent intelligence in the basic fibers of the entire spiritual and physical universe. We are of the opinion that nothing in reality anywhere is beyond the awareness of this Supreme Source. We do not comprehend this concept adequately to express it to you in any finite terms. Do not try to build a box around anything in consciousness, in awareness, in intellect. Your box will turn out to be your set of beliefs and, for you, your reality.

It is of vital importance to get a good handle on the idea of freedom within your own sphere of being and reality, You are as free to move out, to create, to comprehend, to shape reality as the limits of your own belief-norms will allow. However, we need to say this: a person in physical life may be insubordinate to the purposes of its own High Soul. The person who willfully does harm to another is insubordinate to the High Soul. We observe such conduct in most lives at some time. Others live almost totally insubordinate lives in the earth. Such a lifetime is unfortunate indeed. It gives that personality so little material to work with in the next plane of life.
